Psychodynamic counseling student. First responder. Northwestern trained. Trauma-informed.
About Jeff
My understanding of crisis wasn't learned in a classroom; it was forged over 25 years as a Kansas City, Missouri paramedic. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with first responders in their most vulnerable moments gave me an intimate look at how trauma reshapes a life.
Now, as a psychodynamic therapist, I partner with those who bear the weight of high-stress professions - from emergency services and the military to healthcare and corporate leadership. Together, we explore the unconscious narratives formed in past experiences to unlock greater resilience, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I will complete my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University in December 2025 and am eager to begin my practice under supervision. I welcome conversations with potential supervisors about serving this critical population.
“I am currently completing my clinical training and will be available to see clients under supervision in early 2026.”
